How Suqian Zhuhai Leisure Sports Town Added 10 Luxelakes Blue PE Bumper Boats for a Safer Water Attraction

When a scenic-area operator chooses new bumper boats, the decision is not only about price. Color, material, battery life, water-area planning, visitor safety, and after-sales support all matter.

In June 2026, QIQU delivered 10 custom Luxelakes Blue commercial PE bumper boats to Suqian Zhuhai Leisure Sports Town in Sucheng District, Suqian, Jiangsu, China. The same scenic-area group also asked us to upgrade 10 existing fiberglass bumper boats at Jigao Niujiao Village MOMO Park with water cannon systems.

This became a complete water attraction upgrade project: new PE bumper boats for one site, water cannon retrofitting for another site, and practical advice on how to separate bumper boats from other electric boats for safer operation.

From a Douyin Video to a Factory Visit

The customer first contacted QIQU on May 13, 2026.

The reason was simple: they had seen the Luxelakes Blue bumper boat project on Douyin and liked the clean, premium look of the boats. Instead of the traditional mix of bright colors, the Luxelakes Blue finish created a more unified and photogenic water attraction.

After seeing the video, the customer contacted the Luxelakes project operator through Douyin and asked which factory supplied the boats. The operator shared QIQU’s contact information.

The customer was surprised to find that a bumper boat manufacturer was located in Suqian. On May 14, the procurement manager visited our factory to see the boats, workshop, materials, and color effect in person.

During the factory visit, the customer said something very direct:

“If we had known there was a bumper boat manufacturer in Suqian, the fiberglass boats we bought last year would not have felt attractive anymore.”

That comment shaped the project. The customer was not only buying new boats. They were rethinking how their water attraction should look and operate.

Why the Customer Chose PE Bumper Boats Instead of Fiberglass

The customer already operated water recreation projects, including water bikes and electric boats. At MOMO Park, they also had 10 older fiberglass bumper boats.

Originally, the customer believed colorful fiberglass boats would look more attractive to visitors. But after seeing the Luxelakes Blue project, they felt the older boats looked visually outdated and less consistent with the scenic-area environment.

QIQU explained the practical differences between fiberglass bumper boats and rotomolded PE bumper boats. Fiberglass can be used for many boat structures, but for commercial bumper boat operation, rotomolded PE offers several advantages:

The customer decided to purchase 10 new Luxelakes Blue PE bumper boats for Suqian Zhuhai Leisure Sports Town.

Custom Luxelakes Blue Boats with Lithium Batteries

This is our water cannon retrofit plan for your existing fiberglass bumper boats. The document is in Chinese because it was originally prepared for our domestic clients.

We also provided the customer with a practical charging-station layout drawing to help plan the power supply, wiring capacity, and safe daily charging for the new bumper boat fleet.

The final order included 10 commercial PE bumper boats in the same Luxelakes Blue style: a soft blue PE hull, a white inflatable bumper collar, and custom branding.

Each boat used the customer’s YULE ISLAND logo on the white bumper collar. The result was a cleaner, more organized fleet that matched the scenic-area image better than a group of mixed-color boats.

The customer also upgraded the battery configuration.

The battery choice was confirmed later through WeChat. For a scenic-area operator, long runtime and stable daily operation were important because the boats needed to support commercial use during peak visitor hours.

Planning a Dedicated Bumper Boat Area

Suqian Zhuhai Leisure Sports Town already had water bikes and electric boats. During project communication, the customer asked whether bumper boats needed a separate operating area.

QIQU’s answer was yes.

Bumper boats are designed to bump into each other within a controlled area. But they should not operate together with ordinary electric boats. If a bumper boat collides with an electric boat, especially one with sharper edges or hard structures, the inflatable bumper collar may be damaged. That creates unnecessary safety risk and maintenance cost.

For this reason, we advised the customer to set up a dedicated bumper boat water zone. This makes operation easier to manage, reduces collision risk with other boat types, and gives visitors a clearer play experience.

For overseas buyers planning water park bumper boats, this point is important. The boat itself matters, but water-area planning matters just as much.

A Second Request: Adding Water Cannons to Existing Fiberglass Boats

During the May 14 factory visit, the customer also asked whether QIQU could add water cannons to their existing fiberglass bumper boats at Jigao Niujiao Village MOMO Park.

We did not promise immediately.

Older boats can vary significantly in structure, internal space, steering design, battery layout, and hull thickness. A water cannon retrofit may require drilling, wiring, water pump installation, bracket mounting, and steering adjustment. Without inspecting the boats on site, it would not be responsible to say yes.

On May 20, QIQU sent technicians to MOMO Park to inspect the 10 existing fiberglass bumper boats.

They checked:

• Water cannon mounting position
• Internal space
• Battery compartment
• Water pump location
• Water pipe routing
• Water cannon angle
• Steering compatibility
• Electrical connection feasibility

After returning to the factory, our team studied the structure with technicians and prepared a retrofit proposal.

On May 23, we submitted the water cannon modification plan to the customer.

The Retrofit Plan for the Fiberglass Boats

The existing fiberglass boats did not have water cannon systems. QIQU redesigned the center operating area so the boats could use the same type of water cannon system as our PE bumper boats.

The proposal included:

• Removing the original center column
• Adding two new support posts on both sides
• Removing the old steering wheel system
• Installing a water cannon steering system
• Placing the water pump on the platform between two battery compartments
• Positioning the water intake at the center of the platform
• Connecting the pump wiring to the existing battery compartment

The goal was to add a water cannon system without changing the external color or overall appearance of the old fiberglass boats.

After the retrofit, the operator could turn the water cannon handle to control direction. The water spray was controlled by a button on the handle: press to spray, release to stop.

During testing, the water cannon reached an approximate spray distance of 10 meters.

Approval, Deposit, Delivery, and Installation Timeline

This project moved through a clear process:

On June 29, QIQU delivered the 10 Luxelakes Blue PE bumper boats to Suqian Zhuhai Leisure Sports Town. Three QIQU technicians also drove to the customer site.

After installing and testing the new boats, the technicians went to Jigao Niujiao Village MOMO Park, about 15 minutes away, to retrofit the 10 older fiberglass bumper boats with water cannon systems.

The main installation and retrofit work was completed in one afternoon, from around 1:00 p.m. to after 6:00 p.m.

Before leaving, our technicians tested the new PE bumper boats on water, checked the water cannon systems on the retrofitted fiberglass boats, confirmed steering performance, and explained operating precautions to the customer’s staff.

What This Project Shows for Water Attraction Operators

This case is useful for water park owners, scenic-area operators, resort developers, farm park operators, and amusement project buyers because it covers more than a product delivery.

It shows three practical points.

First, visual identity matters.
The customer was attracted by the Luxelakes Blue color because it looked cleaner, more premium, and more suitable for social media promotion than a mixed-color fleet.

Second, material choice affects long-term operation.
For commercial bumper boat use, rotomolded PE is a practical choice because it is suitable for frequent visitor use, light collisions, and custom color production.

Third, operation planning is part of the purchase.
QIQU did not only deliver boats. We also advised the customer to separate bumper boats from electric boats for safer water-area management.
