From Reseller Purchase to Factory-Direct Reorder: Dinesti Land’s Commercial PE Bumper Boat Case

From a Reseller Purchase to a Direct Factory Reorder

In 2024, Dinesti Land, a family tourism destination in South Sumatra, Indonesia, purchased its first batch of QIQU Fun commercial PE bumper boats through another amusement equipment supplier in China.

At that time, the final operator did not contact QIQU directly. The order came to us through a reseller. The customer wanted 25 pirate-themed bumper boats with water cannons, mixed standard colors, battery shipping documents, and steel-frame packing for container loading.

Nearly two years later, the real end customer found us directly.

The reason was simple: our brand was still visible on the boats.

Inside the canopy, passengers could see the QIQU FUN brand name. After using the boats in real operation, Dinesti Land searched for the original manufacturer and contacted us directly through WhatsApp.

In September 2026, the customer paid the deposit for another 20 commercial PE bumper boats.

This was not a one-time trial order. It was an operating product that led to a second purchase after real use.

The First Order: 25 Bumper Boats Purchased Through a Reseller

The first order began on August 15, 2024, when another amusement equipment supplier contacted us with photos of our bumper boats and asked whether we could supply the same product.

The buyer requested a competitive quotation, product parameters, and export-related battery documents. We provided the required documents, including MSDS and battery transportation documentation.

On September 9, 2024, the reseller sent us the contract. That was when we confirmed the order was not directly from the final operator, but from another supplier purchasing on behalf of the Indonesian customer.

The deposit was paid on September 10, 2024.

The first batch included 25 bumper boats in mixed colors:

  • 6 brown boats
  • 6 yellow boats
  • 7 blue boats
  • 6 green boats

The boats were packed with steel frames. Each frame measured about 1.6m x 1.6m x 2.2m, and each boat was packed in its own frame layer.

The full production and packing were completed by September 20, 2024.

How the First 25 Boats Were Shipped

The first batch of QIQU Fun commercial PE bumper boats was loaded at our factory and later received by the customer in Indonesia, completing the delivery from production to real project operation.

Because the order was handled through a reseller, the shipping arrangement was divided into several batches.

First, 6 boats were sent to the reseller’s factory so they could be loaded together with the reseller’s own products.

Then, on October 2, another 14 boats were loaded.

The final customer received those 14 boats on October 30.

For the remaining 5 boats, we advised that using a full container only for 5 boats would not be cost-effective. The customer waited for a suitable LCL container arrangement, and on November 9, an empty container finally arrived at our factory for loading.

This was a practical export decision. For commercial amusement equipment, container space and packing method can affect total landed cost as much as the product price itself.

The Boats Continued Working in Indonesia

The first 25 boats were not stored or used as display products. They were put into real operation at Dinesti Land.

When the customer contacted us again in 2026, they shared recent videos and photos from their site. The boats were still being used, and the boat condition still looked well maintained.

For a bumper boat manufacturer, this matters more than a simple product photo. A boat may look attractive before shipment, but only real park operation can show whether the hull, water cannon, motor system, canopy, bumper tube, and control parts can keep working under daily commercial use.

That operating experience became the foundation for the second order.

How Dinesti Land Found QIQU Directly

The first batch did not carry the customer’s own logo. However, the canopy still showed the QIQU Fun brand.

This detail became important later.

When the final operator wanted to buy more boats, they did not only contact the previous supplier. They searched for the original brand name and found QIQU directly.

The customer also told us that they had purchased this item before at a higher price. For us, this was a clear reminder: brand identity on export products is not only decoration. It helps serious operators trace the real manufacturer when they need spare parts, technical support, upgrades, or repeat orders.

For water park owners and amusement park operators, direct communication with the manufacturer can also make product configuration clearer. The buyer can confirm the motor, battery, control system, water cannon, packing method, documents, and after-sales support without multiple communication layers.

The Second Order: 20 Upgraded Commercial PE Bumper Boats

On May 18, 2026, Dinesti Land contacted us directly through WhatsApp and requested our CE certificate and company information.

On August 4, the customer discussed the color plan for the new order. Unlike the first purchase, this time the customer had a clearer color preference.

They rejected the purple option and selected five other colors, with 4 boats in each color.

On September 9, 2026, the customer paid the deposit for 20 commercial PE bumper boats.

The new boats are now in production. After production is completed, the customer will arrange pickup from our factory under EXW terms for shipment to Surabaya, Indonesia.

What Changed in the Second Order

The second order uses the same 2.1m commercial PE bumper boat body, but the configuration was upgraded for stronger commercial operation.

Compared with the first batch, the new order includes:

We recommended the 24V system because it offers better power, more stable operation, and easier long-term use for commercial sites.

The motor upgrade is not something most customers can easily complete by themselves after receiving the boats. It is much easier and more reliable to configure it correctly during production at the factory.

That is why, for commercial bumper boat projects, we always recommend confirming the operating environment, expected daily usage, battery preference, power system, and maintenance capability before production.

Why This Case Matters for Commercial Buyers

This case is valuable because it shows a real purchasing path that many international buyers experience.

Sometimes the first order does not come directly to the factory. A local operator may buy through a trading company, another amusement equipment supplier, or a project contractor. That is normal.

But after the equipment enters operation, the final user starts to care about more than the first quotation.

They need to know:

  • Who made the boat?
  • Can the original manufacturer provide spare parts?
  • Can the configuration be upgraded?
  • Can the supplier provide certificates and shipping documents?
  • Can the factory explain speed adjustment and ride-time settings?
  • Can the next order be customized more clearly?

For Dinesti Land, the answer was yes.

QIQU provided product information, CE documentation, English instructions, operation videos, speed adjustment guidance, ride-time setting guidance, and spare parts such as power switches, displays, remote controllers, and other commonly used components.

Factory-Direct Does Not Only Mean Price

Many buyers think factory-direct purchasing is only about getting a lower price. In reality, the bigger value is clearer communication.

For commercial bumper boats, small configuration details can affect daily operation:

  • 12V or 24V system
  • Brushed or brushless motor
  • Battery type and capacity
  • Water cannon structure
  • Filter design
  • Handle material
  • Control system settings
  • Steel-frame packing method
  • Spare parts preparation
  • Documentation for export and battery shipping

When the final operator communicates directly with the manufacturer, these details can be confirmed before production instead of being discovered after delivery.

That is especially important for water parks, lakeside attractions, resorts, and family amusement parks where downtime can directly affect ticket revenue.

A Real Reorder Is Stronger Than a Product Claim

It is easy for any supplier to say their boats are suitable for commercial use.

A repeat order after real operation is more meaningful.

Dinesti Land’s first 25 boats were purchased indirectly through another supplier. After using them, the customer found QIQU through the brand mark and placed a second order directly with us.

This tells us two things.

First, the boats were not only accepted at delivery. They continued to be useful in operation.

Second, the final customer trusted the original manufacturer enough to come back for another 20 boats, this time with upgraded specifications and clearer configuration requirements.

For QIQU, this is exactly the kind of case we value most: not a one-time shipment, but a product that remains visible, traceable, and useful after it reaches the operator’s site.

If you are planning a commercial bumper boat project for a water park, lake attraction, resort, or family amusement park, QIQU can help you confirm the right boat model, motor system, battery configuration, water cannon design, color plan, packing method, and export documents.

This Indonesia case is different from another bumper boat repeat order case, where the customer gradually expanded the fleet after holiday operation. Here, the key point is that the final operator traced QIQU through the brand name and reordered directly from the factory.

Send us your project location, water area size, expected quantity, preferred colors, and daily operating plan. We can recommend a suitable commercial bumper boat configuration before production.

The customer had previously used QIQU Fun bumper boats purchased through another supplier. Because the QIQU Fun brand was visible on the canopy, the customer was able to search for the original manufacturer and contact us directly.
The customer bought commercial PE bumper boats with a pirate-themed design and water cannon system. The boats are 2.1m in diameter and designed for commercial water park and amusement park operation.
The second order upgraded from a 12V motor system to a 24V 600W brushless motor system. The boats also use two 12V 90Ah Tianneng lead-acid batteries, steel handles, and an upgraded stainless-steel water filter mounted near the rudder plate.
In many cases, it is difficult for customers to upgrade the motor system by themselves after delivery. The motor, controller, wiring, battery layout, and related components should be configured properly during production. For commercial use, it is better to confirm the power system before ordering.
Yes. For this order, QIQU provided CE documentation, English instructions, operation videos, speed adjustment guidance, ride-time setting guidance, and spare parts such as power switches, displays, remote controllers, and other commonly used parts.
Not always in every situation, because total cost depends on configuration, packing, shipping, and after-sales support. But in this case, the customer told us they had purchased the same item before at a higher price. More importantly, factory-direct purchasing made communication clearer and helped the customer upgrade the product configuration correctly.
