How LiLLA Summer Retreat Added 6 Commercial PE Bumper Boats for a Resort Lake in Malaysia
LiLLA Summer Retreat in Bentong, Pahang added six commercial PE bumper boats as a small resort lake starter fleet. The case shows how QIQU supported a trading-company purchase with configuration confirmation, export documents, color planning, testing, and a practical 20ft-container quantity for resort guest activities.

A Small Resort Fleet Built for Guest Activities
LiLLA Summer Retreat in Bentong, Pahang is a Malaysian resort and team-building destination surrounded by natural scenery, accommodation spaces, event halls, and outdoor activity areas. Public information describes the resort as a place for retreats, family gatherings, corporate groups, and outdoor activities.
When the resort later promoted its bumper boat ride as part of a hotel booking activity, the project showed a practical way for resorts to add a small water attraction without starting with a large fleet.
For this order, the buyer was a Chinese company purchasing for a trading business with operations in Malaysia. Their boss had already seen QIQU bumper boats operating in Malaysia, which made the buyer more confident before placing the order.
Why the Buyer Chose 6 Bumper Boats
This was not a large amusement park fleet. The buyer selected six commercial PE bumper boats because the quantity matched a 20ft container plan and was still enough to create a better guest experience on the resort lake.
If a resort only has one or two boats, the activity can feel too quiet. With six boats, guests can ride together, bump, dodge, spray water, and enjoy the interaction as a group. For a resort that already has rooms, event spaces, and team-building activities, bumper boats can become an easy add-on attraction for families, hotel guests, and group visitors.
Order Background and Timeline
The purchasing manager contacted QIQU on December 27, 2024. Before confirming the order, the buyer asked several practical questions, including whether QIQU could provide export-related documents such as MSDS, sea transport-related battery documents, and previous loading or shipping reference materials.
They also asked whether the motor was brushless or brushed. QIQU confirmed that the bumper boats used brushless motors, which are more suitable for commercial operation than basic brushed motor options.
The buyer also cared about color preference for the Malaysian market. They mentioned that bright colors such as red, blue, and yellow were more popular locally, so the final color plan used several bright resort-friendly colors.
The order timeline was clear:
- December 27, 2024: the purchasing manager contacted QIQU.
- December 30, 2024: the buyer asked about domestic freight to Jining, Shandong.
- January 2, 2025: the buyer paid the deposit and confirmed shipping marks.
- January 8, 2025: QIQU completed production, testing, packing, and dispatch.
- January 10, 2025: the six boats arrived at the buyer’s appointed address in Jining.
After that, the buyer handled the export process and shipment to Malaysia.
Boat Configuration
The six boats were the same commercial PE bumper boat model shown on QIQU’s product page. Each boat had a PE hull, inflatable bumper tube, canopy, water cannon, brushless motor, remote control, timer, music, and lights.
Each boat used a 24V battery system made from two 12V 58Ah Tianneng lead-acid batteries.
The final color plan included:
- 1 orange boat with patterned bumper tube
- 2 yellow boats with patterned bumper tubes
- 1 blue boat with patterned bumper tube
- 1 brown boat with patterned bumper tube
- 1 green boat with solid-color bumper tube
The buyer did not request custom colors, customer logos, or number labels. Instead, they selected from QIQU’s common color options, which helped keep production simple and suitable for a quick delivery schedule.
What the Buyer Cared About Most
For this Malaysia order, the buyer focused on six main points: quality, price, appearance, battery endurance, export documents, and after-sales support.
This is very common for trading-company purchases. The trading company needs to confirm not only whether the product looks good, but also whether it can be shipped properly, operated by the end customer, and supported after delivery.
Because the end user was a resort, appearance also mattered. The boats needed to look bright and attractive on the lake, especially in photos and short videos used for guest promotion.
From Factory Testing to Resort Promotion
Before dispatch, QIQU completed testing and packing for all six boats. The boats were then delivered by a 6.8m domestic truck to the buyer’s appointed address in Jining.
Later, LiLLA Summer Retreat publicly promoted the bumper boat ride as a guest activity. In one hotel booking promotion, guests could book one room and enjoy one free bumper boat ride during the limited-time campaign.
This is exactly how a small bumper boat fleet can support resort operations. It does not need to be the only attraction. Instead, it can become one more reason for guests to book, stay, take photos, and spend more time at the property.
Why This Case Matters for Resort Buyers
This Malaysia case is useful for resort owners who want to test a water attraction before investing in a large fleet.
A six-boat starter fleet can be enough for a small resort lake, especially when the goal is to create guest activity, family fun, or a hotel promotion instead of running a large independent ticketed ride.
It also shows why buyers should confirm real operation details before ordering: motor type, battery capacity, color selection, shipping documents, packing, and delivery schedule all affect whether the project can move smoothly from factory to resort.
For resorts, hotels, camps, and team-building venues, bumper boats can turn an ordinary lake or pond into a more interactive guest experience.
