Turn First-Time Visitors Into Confident Skaters

A child using a QIQU dinosaur skating aid at Pista de Hielo Fundidora in Monterrey, Mexico; the rink shared this public Instagram post on April 23, 2025.

Many people want to try ice skating but give up after only a few minutes because they are afraid of falling.

A skating aid removes that fear immediately.

Instead of holding onto the rink barrier, beginners can start skating with confidence from the very first step.

For ice rink operators, this means higher participation, happier visitors and additional rental income from customers who may otherwise never enter the ice.

Why Operators Choose Dinosaur Instead Of Penguin

Most skating aids look exactly the same.

Penguins.

Seals.

Snowmen.

Visitors have seen them for years.

Our dinosaur was developed to give ice rinks something different.

Not simply another skating aid—

but something visitors immediately notice, photograph and remember.

A more distinctive design creates a more memorable experience.

More Than A Skating Aid

It Becomes Part Of The Visitor Experience

Visitors don't simply use the dinosaur to learn skating.

They stop.

Smile.

Take photos.

Record videos.

Share them with friends.

One visitor shared multiple photos and videos featuring our dinosaur skating aid on Instagram, receiving more than 5,400 likes from other users.

For operators, every shared photo becomes free exposure for the ice rink.

Built For Years Of Commercial Operation

Unlike ordinary fiberglass skating aids that may crack after repeated impacts or become unattractive as paint begins to peel, our dinosaur is manufactured using commercial-grade rotomolded polyethylene.

The body is approximately 8 mm thick and incorporates a modified PE formulation engineered for long-term durability in temperatures down to -40°C (-40°F).

It is designed to remain tough, stable and impact-resistant even in extremely cold environments.

304 stainless steel hardware provides excellent corrosion resistance in wet ice rink conditions.

Not Only for Children

The dinosaur design looks playful, but it is not limited to children. The higher body and handle position make it useful for teenagers and many adult beginners who want support while learning to skate.

This product is used as a push skating aid, not a ride-on toy. The user holds the handles and pushes the aid forward while skating, so the support reference is different from the load rating of a seated ride. For rink operators, this helps one rental product serve children, teenagers and adult first-time skaters under the rink's own usage rules.

Designed To Survive Commercial Rental

Commercial rental equipment is used every day.

It gets pushed.

Dragged.

Bumped.

Stored.

Cleaned.

That is exactly how this product was designed to work.

Thousands of units have been supplied worldwide with extremely low after-sales requirements.

Daily maintenance usually consists of nothing more than cleaning the surface and disinfecting the handles between skating sessions.

Ready To Use In Minutes

No complicated assembly.

No electrical wiring.

No programming.

Open the package.

Install the optional skate blade with a few screws if required.

Place it on the ice.

Start renting.

Simple Rental Business With Excellent ROI

Customer operation photo from Ulsan Honey-Fun Ice Rink in South Korea, where QIQU dinosaur skating aids are shown in use at a public family ice rink.

Many European ice rinks charge approximately €3–€6 per skating session for a standard skating aid.

Higher-value premium models often command even higher rental prices.

With low maintenance requirements and years of commercial service life, operators typically recover equipment costs quickly while continuing to generate rental income season after season.

Easy Daily Management

One staff member can easily distribute, collect and disinfect dozens of skating aids between skating sessions.

Most European rinks already operate on scheduled public skating sessions, making equipment management simple and efficient.

OEM Manufacturing Since 2012

Every dinosaur skating aid is manufactured directly in our own factory.

OEM services include:

• Custom colors

• Permanent molded logos

• Sticker branding

• New character development for volume orders

• Private label manufacturing

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about this product.

Ice skating aids remove the biggest barrier for beginners—fear of falling. When first-time visitors feel safe and confident, they stay longer, enjoy the experience more and are much more likely to return. For operators, this means higher participation, stronger customer satisfaction and additional rental revenue.
Yes. Although the dinosaur shape is child-friendly, this model is also suitable for many adult beginners when used correctly as a push skating aid. It is designed to help users hold the handles, lean forward slightly and gain confidence while moving on the ice. The support reference is up to 100 kg / 220 lbs for push-aid use. It should not be treated as a ride-on seat, and final use should always follow the ice rink's own height, weight and rental rules.
For most commercial ice rinks, operators typically purchase 30–50 units. Larger facilities and distributors often order several hundred units to meet peak demand during weekends and holidays.
Most European ice rinks charge per skating session rather than by the minute. Rental fees are commonly added to the admission ticket, creating a simple operating model with fast equipment turnover and excellent return on investment.
Because skating aids require virtually no electricity, consumables or daily maintenance, rental income becomes almost pure profit after the initial investment is recovered. Many operators achieve an excellent return over several busy weekends.
The standard version is ready to use directly from the carton. If stainless steel skate blades are supplied separately, installation only requires tightening a few screws and usually takes just a few minutes.
Not at all. Daily maintenance normally consists of wiping the surface clean and disinfecting the handles between rental sessions. There are no motors, batteries or electronic components to maintain.
Yes. The one-piece rotomolded polyethylene body is designed for commercial rental environments. Unlike traditional fiberglass products, it will not suffer from paint chipping or surface cracking during normal operation.
Yes. We support custom colors, OEM logos and large-volume custom molding projects for distributors and commercial buyers.
Traditional skating aids are mainly functional. Our dinosaur skating aid combines beginner support with a distinctive visual identity that encourages visitors to stop, take photos and share their experience online. For ice rink operators, this creates additional exposure beyond the skating session itself and helps make the venue more memorable.
